Sand Dams

are the most cost effective solution to water shortage in drylands. Sand Dams capture millions of litres of rainwater and store it underground. One Sand Dam can provide up to 1000 people with drinking water for up to a year without rainfall.

Sustainable agriculture

is now possible due to increased water availability. Studies have shown that 85% of communities with Sand Dams report improved diet and 90% of farmers report improved incomes.
